History of Comfort & Care of Wallingford
Comfort & Care of Wallingford had become the piece of that its Owner and Founder Linda F. Durning needed to complete the puzzle in her life.
While working with older adult in this field, Linda found that she needed to be able to do more for them. It was during this time that she thought that it was time to put her own ideas together, meet with her family and begin her own company.
Linda's family was very supportive of her ideas and knew that Linda along with their help could give that extra special touch that the home care industry so needed.
In the summer of 2003, with the hiring of our first caregiver, Comfort & Care of Wallingford opened it's door to a one-room office with two desks.
Growing and Serving More People
Today, Comfort & Care of Wallingford continues to grow and to serve over 200 clients and their families. Our staff now includes an Office Manager, Office Support Team, a team of Schedulers and over 100 caregivers.
